Change European Tour 2008

One week, four cities, thousands of transformed lives – this sums up the Change 08 European Tour hosted by Ramson Mumba Ministries and Creflo Dollar Ministries earlier this summer.
With a packed schedule which began in Amsterdam, Holland and included meetings in El-Shaddai Bradford and Birmingham before culminating in two full days at the Hippodrome, London, Change 08 was a landmark event for both ministries.
In every city Dr Ramson Mumba, Pastor Taffi Dollar and Dr Creflo Dollar ministered to packed halls full of people hungry to hear the uncompromised Word of God that would bring about real and lasting change in their everyday lives.
Pastor Taffi Dollar began with a powerful and gritty word of encouragement on what to do when you are in the midst of a battle and how to overcome life’s challenges. Following the leading of the Holy Spirit, she went on to exhort believers to reach out to those around them who don’t yet know Jesus, ministering on the theme of seeking and saving the lost. Finally, she brought a stirring reminder that ‘Today is the day of salvation,’ as she encouraged us to lay hold of all that God has for us and believe that this is our time for unprecedented favour and manifestation.
Dr Ramson Mumba chose as his foundational scripture the opening verses from 2 Peter 1 in which the apostle declares that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness. In his own inimitable style he went on to show that we can indeed ‘escape the corruption that is in the world’ as we choose to abide in and become intimate with the Word of God. As we fall in love with the Word of God, read it, confess it and saturate ourselves in those ‘great and precious promises,’ manifestation should follow us wherever we go. In Dr Mumba’s words, God has anointed us to be ‘solution carriers’ – walking proof that God is alive and active in our generation.
Dr Creflo Dollar’s heart for the continent of Europe was clear from the outset of the tour – he wanted to teach God’s people how to use their faith to get results. Throughout the week he proceeded to unpack what can only be described as an anatomy of faith, explaining exactly what God means when He says ‘The just shall live by faith.’ Using a memorable visual demonstration, Dr Dollar showed us that it is the Word we spend time with that we will be confident in. If we spend more time with ‘Mr Healing’ than ‘Mr Prosperity,’ we will be more confident in God’s willingness and ability to heal us and therefore see more results in that particular realm. He closed in London by making the connection between faith and faithfulness and the power that is released by God when we decide to operate in the principle of stewardship.
For those who had the privilege of following the tour from Amsterdam right through to London, it was exciting to witness the seamless flow of revelation and wisdom that unfolded as each speaker in turn ministered under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit.
